John Vassall, M.D., Comagine Health’s physician executive for quality and safety, appeared on Seattle television to convince African Americans and other people of color that COVID-19 vaccines are safe. In the segment on KIRO 7 News, Dr. Vassall spoke about racism in health care and its harmful impact on people of color. Nevertheless, he encouraged those who are hesitant: “My first message is … you should take the vaccine.”
