Join the Comagine Health Six Building Blocks team August 28 at noon PST for a short session on Measuring Success: Testing Change to Improve Care for Patients with Opioid Use Disorder.

Maria Klemesrud, Senior Improvement Advisor at Comagine Health will interview Dr. Michael Parchman, Senior Investigator Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute, and member of the Comagine Six Building Blocks Project team. Dr. Parchman was a member of the original Six Building Blocks development team supported by a grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.

Event participants will:

  • Learn strategies to engage staff in small tests of change to improve patient care
  • Hear stories about how clinics sustain opioid improvement projects over time
  • Discover how quality improvement can improve staff morale and spread best practices within a clinic culture

The Six Building Blocks Program is a team and evidence-based quality improvement roadmap to support practices as they implement effective guidelines and team-based care for their patients with chronic pain who are using opioid therapy.
