Treating patients equitably requires letting them know about their treatment options. There are multi-level challenges to delivering patient-accessible education. This webinar will focus on evidence-based health literacy strategies and tools to enhance accessible and equitable patient education.

About the Presenter

Catina O’Leary, Ph.D., LMSW, is president and CEO at Health Literacy Media (HLM). Before joining HLM in 2012, Catina led large-scale research initiatives at Washington University School of Medicine at sites across the U.S. and internationally. Her research interests were in HIV prevention, mental and behavioral health interventions and community-engaged interventions to connect people with medical and social resources aimed at improving health behaviors, preventing illness, and improving overall health and well-being.
