Learning Series for Community Health Workers: Addressing Adult Immunizations

Session 1

Community health workers play an important role in increasing confidence in and uptake of vaccines in the communities they serve. Comagine Health and Boost Oregon invite community health workers, home health workers and others who provide care to the elderly to attend this two-part learning series. 

This session will focus on motivational interviewing as it relates to vaccination. Participants will build and practice critical skills for encouraging vaccination within the populations they serve. Session 1 will review skills and tools for discussing adult vaccines with patience.
