(HI) Electronic health exchange (HIE) allows health care providers and patients to appropriately access and securely share a patient's vital medical information electronically--improving the speed, quality, safety and cost of patient care.

Chronic conditions, such as heart disease, are a growing problem in the United States. In an effort to combat this issue, some health care organizations are implementing HIEs to more effectively manage the health of patients with chronic conditions, like cardiovascular diseases, and reduce preventable hospitalizations and adverse events.

Join HealthInsight's April webinar to hear from experts Erick Maddox from Reliance HIE in Oregon and Brenda Hood of HealtHIE Nevada, who will discuss the benefits of using HIEs in the management of cardiovascular diseases and how doing so can improve patient outcomes.
