Helping patients, families, and caregivers plan and prepare.
Health care professionals from home health and assisted living facilities are invited to participate in this two-part series focused on advance care planning efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Part one is a recorded, on-demand presentation by Dr. Anna Beck and Dr. Paige Patterson, local experts from the University of Utah/Huntsman Cancer Institute in medical oncology and palliative care to specifically address goals of care as they relate to current code status, prognosis and associated recommendations. By registering for the live, interactive part two of this training you will receive the link to view the 45-minute recorded lecture (on your own time) prior to session two.
Part two of this series, being held on June 18, will be an interactive session to allow for the opportunity to practice these skills in a safe, confidential environment with Drs. Beck and Patterson.
