  • Two Nevada Hospitals Receive HealthInsight Quality Award

    Annual Recognition Encourages Excellence Through Accountability

    Las Vegas — Two hospitals in Nevada are being honored today for their high performance on quality of care outcome measures and patient satisfaction.

    HealthInsight, a nonprofit, community-based health care collaborative working to improve health and health care for patients and providers, will present the 2017 HealthInsight Quality Award to the recipients today at the 57th Annual Nevada Hospital Association Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe.

    HealthInsight Quality Award hospital recipients are selected based on their performance on healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), patient experience of hospital care (HCAHPS), 30-day hospitalwide readmissions and mortality measures.

  • New Mexico Nursing Homes Receive 2017 HealthInsight Quality Award

    Program Encourages Excellence in Patient Care

    Albuquerque—Fifteen New Mexico nursing homes are being recognized today for demonstrating excellence in providing quality care.

    The HealthInsight Quality Award Program promotes transparency in health care. Since 2004, the program has recognized nursing homes, hospitals, home health agencies and outpatient medical practices and clinics in Utah and Nevada. This year, HealthInsight New Mexico and the New Mexico Health Care Association partnered to launch the program in our state. The inaugural awards were presented at the New Mexico Health Care Association’s 63rd Annual Convention and Exposition opening session today in Albuquerque.

    HealthInsight New Mexico has been awarded a 2017 Top Workplaces honor by The Albuquerque Journal. The Top Workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, an independent research firm specializing in organizational health and workplace improvement. Aspects of workplace culture were measured, including alignment, execution and connection. Only 45 companies in the state were selected for the Top Workplaces award for 2017, so HealthInsight New Mexico is in an elite class.
