Comagine Health, in partnership with the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Office of Investigations and Epidemiology, seeks to advance effective infection prevention (IP) and control principles during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
Recordings of past webinars and supporting resources from the Nevada Infection Prevention and Control Learning Collaborative are available here. Each session focuses on a specific aspect of implementing a successful infection prevention and control program in your setting. Tools and forms that are general in nature and may apply to multiple sessions are located under IP Tools and Resources.
As part of this work, a 10-part, interactive virtual learning series is being held February 10 through June 23, 2021, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Using CDC guidance and CDC’s Project Firstline national training materials, we will cover topics such as mitigating risk, vaccines, hand hygiene, environmental cleaning, appropriate PPE use and pandemic fatigue. Project Firstline is a new national training collaborative for infection control designed specifically with the frontline worker in mind, with accessible, concise and interactive educational modules. We will also review Nevada-specific guidance about infection control.
Sessions are open to all staff and owners working in assisted living homes, inpatient hospice facilities, dialysis centers, group homes and homes for individual residential care (HIC) settings in the state of Nevada and are designed to help staff implement or enhance their infection prevention and control programs.
