COVID-19 has challenged our health care leaders, frontline nursing staff and personal caregivers in ways we couldn’t have imagined. Extraordinary times call for new infection prevention solutions. Comagine Health is partnering with the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health to offer a free innovative infection prevention and control program to long-term care facilities. This free education series provides the latest in infection prevention, including CDC’s Project Firstline curriculum, to long-term care facility staff in Nevada. We also offer free technical assistance and individual consultation.

Free Infection Prevention Training for Long-Term Care Facilities

Join our infection prevention experts for a free learning series tailored to meet the needs of long-term care facilities in Nevada. This bimonthly ECHO® (Extension for Community Health Care Outcomes) series is open to direct care staff, designated infection prevention staff, administrators and owners of skilled nursing, assisted living facilities and residential facilities. Using the “All Teach-All Learn” approach, this ECHO series focuses on peer-to-peer learning, facilitated by experts, on a virtual platform.

These one-hour sessions are every other Wednesday starting June 29, 2022, through spring 2023.

Southern Nevada: 10:00 a.m.

Southern Nevada: 1:30 p.m.

Northern Nevada: 11:30 a.m.

Free Tips for Frontline Health Care Workers

Project Firstline is the CDC’s national training collaborative for infection control designed specifically for the frontline worker featuring:

  • Easily accessible, concise education modules
  • Multiple ways to participate
  • Content for everyone, regardless of background or previous experience with infection prevention and control
